I ordered the omurice tonkatsu combo, and unfortunately, nothing about it worked. The seasoning was completely off. The tonkatsu tasted heavily soaked in oil, and the rice felt like leftover fried rice that had been reheated and served without much care. The sauce also lacked balance and flavor. The tonkatsu was cut into excessively large pieces, making it awkward and uncomfortable to eat. After just a few bites, I felt nauseous and had to force myself to finish. The Thai tea that came with the meal was also strange. It didn’t have the sweet, nutty flavor you’d expect from authentic Thai tea. Instead, it tasted like overly concentrated instant tea. On top of that, the tipping system felt uncomfortable. The payment terminal was set with a minimum 20% tip, and while I wanted to choose a custom amount, the staff held the terminal right up to me, making the situation awkward. I ended up selecting 20% simply to avoid the hassle, but it was not a tip I chose willingly. Overall, I would not recommend this place.

I decided to order a drink from Tbaar as I was dining inside Kyuramen. I got the Black Tea Latte with brown sugar and added tapioca. The drink itself was enjoyable. The brown sugar was delicious. Sometimes, the brown sugar tends to get lost in the drink, but the flavor was prominent in each sip. The latte was good, but i do like slightly stronger tea. My biggest gripe was the tapioca - the texture was on the mushier side. I prefer my tapioca to be slightly firmer.

I thought the drinks were okay. Last time i was here the service was amazing! I asked the lady what the drinks in the display was and she gave one to me saying it was tea! ;) However, this time the lady told me that it could only be purchased with to go hot pot. Very disappointing that I couldn’t buy one because it was good.

We had ordered the dragon fruit tea without the milk foam but the worker had made us a SMOOTHIE? I had even asked to double check to make sure this was correct as I had paid $10 for this drink but they said it was a smoothie, not just a fruit tea like depicted in the picture. We wanted to try this out as we had tried this chain in Denver and enjoyed it but I am thoroughly disappointed and will not be coming back.

Ordered a black tea latte with brown sugar and paid extra for tapioca and the drinks did not come with milk or tapioca. also ordered the 4 seasons tea and ordered mixed jelly and white pearls. got mixed jelly and popping boba. it also tasted like straight soap. could not get a refund. would not go back.
